When a picturesque property nestled above the Constantia valley was donated to the Light From Africa Foundation in 2011, ART in the FOREST was born. This non-profit social enterprise is now a well established ceramic art hub producing a highly successful Studio Line and selling The Collection of works by South Africa’s best potters. In addition, the hub also offers ceramic art classes, teambuilding with clay workshops, technical ceramic workshops and demonstrations/talks as well as clay therapy programmes to the general public. 100% of all profits made at ART in the FOREST are donated to Light From Africa Foundation and are used to cover a large portion of our operational expenses.
