The first excitement guests enjoy when entering ART in the FOREST, is ‘The Collection’ on exhibition in the main gallery space.  Curated by Anthony Shapiro, “The Collection” is a constantly refreshed ceramic exhibition including a selection of the best new works by South Africa’s leading potters.

Currently The Collection comprises a stunning multitude of ceramic works from all over the country, offering visitors the opportunity to peruse and purchase ceramic excellence for a good cause. Included are new functional and decorative pieces by Woven Ceramics, Loren Kaplan, Hennie Meyer, Clementina, Lisa Firer, Anthony Shapiro, Alessandro Pappada, Sarah Walters, Karen Sinovich, Ashley Wislon, Mervyn Gers, Madoda Fani, Ardmore Ceramic Art and Maureen Visagé.

An exhibition showcasing the art of hand thrown ceramics by leading Western Cape potters
